On Saturday night, I lost my sweet Chroma — tragically and unexpectedly. If you’ve been following our adventures, you know she’s been my little sidekick for the past year, always by my side on murals and in life.

Chroma wasn’t just my companion; she was part of my art, a part of the process, and a part of the moments we shared with so many of you this past year. Together, we connected with countless people — at murals, in the studio, running errands, at events — and I’m endlessly grateful for that. She made people smile, sparked conversations, and reminded me that art and life are always intertwined.

🎨🪻🍷 That’s a wrap on our Glitch Bluebonnet painting class at Amsler Hill Winery, and wow did we have FUN! From blank canvases to glitch Bluebonnet masterpieces, we spent the night giggling, sipping wine, & unleashing our inner artists (turns out they appear right after the second glass 😜). By the end of the night, every single person walked out with a big smile, paint on their hands, and a piece of artwork they absolutely love. 🩵
We can’t wait to do it all again at the next paint night! 🎨

I spent my birthday with my Uncle Ralph, and it’s no wonder we find common ground—me as an artist, him as a former rodeo clown. Creativity, storytelling, and a little bit of chaos just run in the family I guess! 😜🤡🤠🫶👩🏼‍🎨
Whether it’s painting a mural or entertaining a rodeo crowd, we both have used our crafts to connect with people, evoke emotion, and bring a little more color—to a wall or an arena. Art and performance may look different, but at their core, they both leave a lasting mark, telling stories that live on long after the show is over! ⭐️🐮

My latest work in progress is inspired by the Katy Cowgirls, a symbol of grit, pride, and tradition in Katy, Texas. For decades, these incredible women have represented the community with their iconic horseback performances, embodying the true spirit of Texas. ⭐️

The Katy Cowgirls were originally founded in 1943 to ride in local parades and rodeos, proudly showcasing the unique heritage of Katy. Beyond their graceful routines, they serve as ambassadors of our small-town values and big-hearted community. They remind us of the importance of preserving our history while inspiring younger generations to stay connected to their roots.
